Privacy Policy

When you contact Electrix all Blew, through this site, a phone call, or our booking page, we collect a small amount of personal information so we can do the job you've asked us to do, and we look after it the way we'd want our own looked after.

This page explains, plainly, what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If something here doesn't make sense, ring us on 0404 859 222 or email info@electrixallblew.com.au, happy to walk you through it.

1. Who we are

Electrix all Blew is a family-run electrical and air conditioning business based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean Electrix all Blew, and "you" means the person whose information we're handling.

2. What we collect

The information we collect depends on how you get in touch. It's usually some combination of:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Your address, so we know where the job is and how to get there.
  • A short description of the work you need done.
  • Photos you choose to send us (a switchboard, a damaged power point, that sort of thing).
  • Payment details once a job is booked or completed, handled through our payment provider, not stored on our website.

3. How we collect it

Usually one of three ways: a contact form on this site, a phone call to 0404 859 222, or our booking page. Sometimes we'll also collect details when you message us on Facebook or Instagram, or when a referrer (a builder, a real estate agent, a neighbour) passes your number on so we can ring you about a job.

4. How we use it

We use your information to do the job: to quote it, schedule it, turn up at the right address, and follow up afterwards. That includes sending you a confirmation when you book, an invoice when the job is done, and the odd reminder if a follow-up visit is needed (compliance retest, warranty check, that sort of thing).

We do not sell your information. We don't pass it to lead aggregators or marketers. We don't add you to a list you didn't ask to be on.

5. Who we share it with

A small number of trusted services help us run the business, and your information sometimes passes through them:

  • HighLevel: our customer messaging and booking platform. Stores your contact details, your booking, and our message history.
  • Google: for Maps, basic site analytics, and reviews. We see aggregate visit data, not who you are individually.
  • Our accountant and our payment provider: for invoicing and payments.
  • Suppliers and authorities: only when a job legitimately requires it (for example, a Certificate of Compliance lodged with the relevant authority after switchboard or meter work).

We don't share your information with anyone else without your consent, unless the law requires it.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site uses a small amount of standard tracking, enough to count visits, see which pages are useful, and load Google fonts. We don't run advertising pixels or remarketing tags. You can block cookies in your browser without breaking the site.

7. How long we keep it

We keep job records, invoices and compliance paperwork for as long as Australian tax and electrical-safety rules require, typically seven years. After that, we delete or de-identify what we no longer need. Marketing-style contact details (if you've asked us to send updates) get removed any time you ask.

8. Your rights under the Privacy Act 1988

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that's wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold.
  • Complain if you think we've handled your information poorly.

Email info@electrixallblew.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, usually within 30 days.

9. Security

Your information is held on platforms that use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We don't store payment card numbers on our own systems. The number of people inside the business who can see your details is small, generally just the owners and the office.

10. Contact us about privacy

Any privacy question, request or complaint: email info@electrixallblew.com.au, or ring 0404 859 222 during business hours and ask to talk to the owner.

If we can't resolve a complaint to your satisfaction you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

11. Updates

We update this page when something material changes: a new tool we use, a new way we collect information, a change in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
